Miami-Dade Police Arrest Woman in Fatal Rollover Crash

Miami-Dade Police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal rollover crash that occurred in a southwest Miami-Dade neighborhood on Friday morning. The incident resulted in one fatality and left two others in critical condition.

According to reports, 28-year-old Dymariz Picon has been identified as the driver of a silver Nissan that collided with a van at the intersection of Southwest 21st Terrace and 92nd Avenue in Westchester. The impact caused the van to roll over, tragically killing a 34-year-old passenger named Daniel Garcia.

Video footage captured by a nearby resident shows the moment of the collision between the silver pickup truck and the white work van. Emergency responders from the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue rushed to the scene and transported two occupants of the van, who were in critical condition, to a local hospital as trauma alerts.

Suspect Involved in Hendry County Felony Crashes into Pole After Police Pursuit

In an unrelated incident, a driver involved in a felony in Hendry County led police on a chase in Fort Lauderdale before crashing into a concrete pole on Sunday morning. The pursuit began when officers spotted the vehicle in the 1400 block of NE 62nd Street and attempted to apprehend the suspect.

During the pursuit, the driver lost control of the vehicle, resulting in a collision with the concrete power pole. Thankfully, all three occupants of the vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to North Broward Hospital for treatment. The driver was subsequently arrested by the Fort Lauderdale Police.
