Identity of Woman Found Dead in East Harris County Wooded Area Released

HOUSTON – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of a woman discovered deceased in a heavily wooded area in east Harris County. The body was found on December 7th, around 5 p.m., in the 17600 block of Youpon Street.

Authorities were alerted to the discovery by an individual who came across the woman’s body just off the roadside. The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Jessica Stabler.

According to the Institute of Forensic Science, the cause of death has been determined to be homicide. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit is currently seeking information from the public regarding this case and the circumstances surrounding Jessica Stabler’s untimely demise.
