Arjun Bagh, the accused, brutally beheaded his 30-year-old wife, Dharitri, after stabbing her to death. The horrifying act sent shockwaves through the community and triggered panic when Arjun arrived at a local police station, carrying the severed head.

Tragically, this dispute culminated in Arjun mercilessly stabbing Dharitri to death and subsequently beheading her.

Arjun, overcome with guilt or perhaps driven by a sudden realization of the gravity of his actions, decided to turn himself in. He took the severed head to the Banigochha police station and surrendered, leaving the authorities and the local community in a state of shock.

In another distressing incident that unfolded in Mumbai on the same day, a 42-year-old man named Moinuddin Nasrullah Ansari was arrested for brutally beating his wife, Parveen Moinuddin Ansari, to death. The altercation between the couple erupted when Moinuddin demanded money from his wife to purchase alcohol, which she refused.

The accused and the deceased resided in a dwelling located alongside the railway track between Goregaon and Malad stations.
