Hisar: A horrifying incident unfolded in Rajthal village of Hansi, as a five-year-old girl was discovered hanging from a noose made of a dupatta on the cradle of a village school. The incident occurred on Friday night, and the police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the girl’s death. They are trying to determine whether it was a case of murder or if the dupatta accidentally got trapped, leading to the young student’s tragic demise. The deceased student has been identified as Shrishti, a five-year-old girl and the daughter of Rohtash, a resident of Rajthal village.

According to the family members of the deceased, Shrishti was a student of Class 1 in the primary school of the village. On Friday evening, at around 5 pm, she went out to play and did not return home. Concerned, her family initiated a search for her and also made an announcement in the village about her disappearance. The villagers joined in the search efforts, and the police were informed about the missing girl. However, it wasn’t until around 10 pm that night when a young man discovered Shrishti’s lifeless body hanging from a noose on the cradle of the school. Shockingly, she still had slippers on both her feet. The police promptly arrived at the scene upon receiving the information.

The police investigation is focused on determining the cause of Shrishti’s death. They are examining whether foul play was involved or if it was a tragic accident during her playtime. The possibility of murder has not been ruled out, and the police are leaving no stone unturned in their quest for answers.

In recent news, Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains visited Civil Hospital Sangrur to check on the health of students from Meritorious Schools. The minister interacted with the students and assured them that action would be taken against those responsible for any wrongdoing. Additionally, feedback forms will be taken from students every month to prevent such incidents from occurring. The principal of the meritorious school has also been suspended, and food samples from all meritorious schools are currently being tested.
