Accident – Death – Obituary News : NEW DELHI: The Special Cell of Delhi Police has successfully averted two incidents of firing by apprehending three individuals, including a juvenile. The first case involved a shooter associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, along with a juvenile accomplice, who were arrested in Vasant Kunj after a brief exchange of fire. The duo had planned to open fire outside a five-star hotel in the area. Fortunately, no one was injured during the shootout.

In the second case, a shooter who was on his way to fire at the Dwarka court was apprehended before he could enter the court premises. His accomplice managed to escape by blending into the crowd. The police identified the shooter as Ankit and recovered two pistols from his possession.

In the first incident, the accused individuals were identified as Anish (23) and a 15-year-old boy. The police apprehended them near pocket-9 at 9:40 pm on Friday. According to the police, both Anish and the juvenile were on their way to fire near a renowned five-star hotel in South Delhi, allegedly under the instructions of Amit, a prisoner in Punjab Jail who was following orders from Anmol Bishnoi. During the confrontation with the police, the accused fired five rounds, while the police team fired two rounds in self-defense. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The police recovered two sophisticated pistols with four live cartridges and a bike from the accused.

Anish has a prior criminal history, with involvement in six cases including armed robbery, Arms Act violations, and assault in Rohtak district. Similarly, the minor had previously been involved in an armed robbery case in the same district.

According to the police, the recovered weapons and ammunition were arranged by gang members in Haryana. The accused individuals had visited the location of the planned firing a few days prior and identified the escape route. On the day of the execution, they left Rohtak for Delhi on a motorcycle with a fake registration number.

The second shooter, Ankit, was apprehended based on a tip-off while he was on his way to kill a complainant. The police laid a trap and successfully captured him. Two pistols were recovered from his possession.
