Accident – death – Obituary News : New Delhi: Shocking CCTV footage has emerged, revealing the whereabouts of the prime suspects, Nitin Fauji and Rohit Rathore, in the murder case of Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. The footage captured the accused at Rewari railway station in Haryana on December 6, just a day after the brutal killing took place at Gogamedi’s residence in Jaipur.

Sources close to the investigation have disclosed that after leaving Rewari, Fauji and Rathore made their way to Hisar, where they were joined by an accomplice identified as Udham. It is believed that Udham assisted them in reaching Kullu, a town in Himachal Pradesh, and arranged a safe hideout for them to lay low.

The plan was set in motion as they embarked on their journey to Kullu in Udham’s car. However, upon learning that the police were conducting extensive searches for them, they hastily returned to Chandigarh. Reports suggest that at the time of their eventual arrest, the duo was found at a liquor shop, consuming alcohol and devising their next course of action.

In a significant development, the two assailants were brought to the Crime Branch office in the national capital on Sunday. The Delhi Police, in collaboration with the Rajasthan Police, successfully apprehended the absconding accused, along with two other individuals, in Chandigarh during the early hours of Sunday.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, December 9, Jaipur police made another breakthrough by arresting Ramveer Singh, a resident of Mahendragarh, Haryana, in connection with the killing of Gogamedi. Singh’s arrest provides a crucial lead in the case and further strengthens the ongoing investigation.

To recapitulate the incident, Gogamedi was fatally shot by three assailants, namely Nitin Fauji, Rohit Rathod, and Naveen Shekhawat, at his residence in Shyam Nagar, Jaipur on December 5. During the confrontation, Naveen Shekhawat was killed by the police in an exchange of fire, while one of Gogamedi’s security guards sustained injuries.

It is worth mentioning that on November 9, Fauji and his associates had audaciously opened fire on uniformed personnel at Mahendragarh Police Station Sadar, managing to escape from custody.
