Accident – death – Obituary News : Tragic Accident on Mumbai-Pune Expressway Claims One Life and Leaves Several Injured

In a devastating incident on Sunday, a private travel agency bus collided with a truck trailer on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Borghat, resulting in the loss of one life and leaving at least seven others injured. Officials from the state highway police reported the unfortunate incident, which occurred in the early hours of the morning.

According to authorities, the ill-fated bus was en route from Mumbai to Pune when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to collide with the trailer at approximately 1:40 am. The impact of the collision caused severe damage to the left side of the bus, claiming the life of the second driver who was accompanying the journey.

The deceased has been identified as Raju Gavade, a 40-year-old resident of Sangali. The loss of Gavade’s life has sent shockwaves through the community, leaving his friends and family grief-stricken. They were swiftly transported to nearby hospitals for further medical treatment. Shailesh Shetke, Pradip Shivaji Chavan, Sudhir Bhagwat, Rahul Bhagwat, and Rohit Bhosale were taken to the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Kamothe, Navi Mumbai. On the other hand, Senha Mehta and Jitesh Chaturvedi were admitted to the Lokmanya Tilak Hospital in Pune.
