The deceased has been identified as Arun Yadav, son of Bhupendra Yadav, and he was a Class IX student. The injured victims have been identified as Kuldeep Rai, Indu Devi, Tara Devi, and Kuldeep’s daughter Shhradha Kumari. The accused in the case include former mukhiya of Chilkara panchayat, Pappu Yadav, his brothers Himanshu Yadav and Amar Yadav, uncle Samudra Yadav, and driver Dom Yadav. The injured victims have been admitted to the government hospital at Mayaganj, Bhagalpur.

According to sources, the quarrel began over the parking of Pappu’s car in front of Bhupendra’s house. Pappu, along with four others, retrieved firearms from their homes and began firing, injuring five members of Bhupendra’s family.
