Tragedy Strikes as Young Girl Passes Away While Awaiting Darshan at Sabarimala

Heartbreaking Incident at Appachimedu Leaves Community in Mourning

An unfortunate incident unfolded at Appachimedu in Sabarimala, as an 11-year-old girl tragically collapsed while waiting for darshan. The young girl, identified as Padamasree, was rushed to the Pampa hospital, located nearby, where she succumbed to her condition on Saturday. The devastating news has left the local community in a state of deep sorrow.

Padamasree, the daughter of Kumaran and Jayalakshmi hailing from Salem in Tamil Nadu, had been battling a heart-related disease since the tender age of three. The medical team at Pampa hospital revealed that the young girl collapsed around 4.15 p.m. and despite their best efforts, she could not be saved. After approximately 45 minutes of relentless attempts to revive her, Padamasree breathed her last.

Preliminary medical examinations conducted by the doctors at Pampa hospital have indicated that Padamasree’s death was directly linked to her congenital heart disease. This heartbreaking revelation has left the grieving family shattered.
