According to an arrest warrant affidavit, a different officer, not Officer Blankenship, had initially pulled over Eddings in a Chevrolet Equinox after he disregarded a traffic signal. During a search of the vehicle’s glove box, the officer discovered marijuana, as stated in the court document. Surprisingly, there was no mention of the collision during Eddings’ bond hearing on December 9, during which he was granted a bond of $10,000 for each of the two charges brought against him.
