Indian National Identified as Woman Found Encased in Cement in Klang Bathroom

KLANG – The woman who was discovered encased in cement in a bathroom at Kampung Pendamar here has been identified as an Indian national, according to Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan. The victim, in her 30s and standing at 160cm tall, was confirmed to be the girlfriend of the previous tenant of the house.

Comm Hussein revealed that the main suspect in the murder investigation is also an Indian national. Police have positively identified the main suspect and are now seeking assistance from the Indian Embassy and Indian police to track down and apprehend both suspects.

With the development of these new details, the police have called in 10 witnesses to assist with the investigation, hoping to bring the case to a swift conclusion. In order to aid the investigation, a sketch of the victim has been created based on eyewitness accounts, and the police urge anyone with information about the victim or who may have known her to contact the nearest police station.

Earlier, a 53-year-old foreign man was detained by the police, and two other foreigners were tracked down in connection with the murder of the woman found encased in cement at the house in Kampung Pendamar, Klang. The body was discovered on Sunday (Dec 3) by a foreign man assigned to conduct repairs on the property.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the house had been rented by two foreign men for a period of two years, from August 2019 to October of last year. The previous tenant had given an excuse to the house owner regarding the cement-covered water tub, claiming that liquid from a rat carcass was flowing into it.

However, when the house owner inspected the property before renting it to other tenants, they discovered the tub covered in cement. Last month, the owner hired foreign workers to fix the roof, who then alerted the owner after finding a body encased in cement within the water tub. The police were promptly notified, and the body was recovered after the tub was smashed.
