Man Brutally Stabbed 30 Times in Shocking CCTV Footage

A horrifying incident caught on CCTV has revealed the gruesome murder of a man in Bihar’s Nawada. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Rahul Kumar, was repeatedly stabbed with a knife over 30 times on the roadside, leading to his untimely death. The police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to apprehend the unidentified assailant.

Rahul Kumar, the only son of Vasudev from Shiv Nagar, had returned to his hometown from Varanasi, where he was pursuing his studies, to celebrate the auspicious Chhath Puja festival. Little did he know that his visit would turn into a nightmare.

The shocking CCTV footage captured the assailant’s heinous act, as he first threw red chilli powder into Rahul’s eyes, momentarily blinding him. Seizing the opportunity, the attacker relentlessly plunged the knife into his defenseless victim’s body. The incident took place in broad daylight, with several pedestrians and vehicles passing by, oblivious to the horror unfolding before their eyes.

Despite the severity of the assault, no immediate help arrived for Rahul. In the absence of a police vehicle or an ambulance, the authorities arranged for an e-rickshaw to transport his lifeless body.

The police, determined to bring the perpetrator to justice, began examining nearby CCTV cameras to identify the middle-aged suspect. Deputy Superintendent of Nawada Police, Ajay Prasad, provided some details about the assailant based on eyewitness accounts. He stated, “According to witnesses in the vicinity, the attacker is estimated to be between 35 to 40 years old. We are conducting a thorough investigation, and once the suspect is identified, appropriate action will be taken.”

Heartbroken and devastated, Rahul’s family revealed that he had received a phone call prior to the incident, which led him to the ill-fated location. The motive behind the brutal attack remains unknown, leaving the family and community in shock.
