Accident – Death – Obituary News : Suspect Arrested for Driving on Wrong Side of the Road in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, India – In a recent incident, a suspect identified as Jishan was apprehended by Traffic Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Nagesh Rao for driving on the wrong side of the road near the NGF signal on Old Madras Road on December 4. The incident caused a significant disruption in traffic flow and posed a risk to other motorists.

The incident took place at around 10:30 am when ASI Nagesh Rao noticed a car proceeding in the opposite direction on the wrong side of the road. Acting swiftly, he intercepted the vehicle and brought it to a stop. The suspect, Jishan, was immediately questioned about his reckless driving behavior.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Jishan did not possess a valid driver’s license and was driving under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was subjected to a breathalyzer test, which confirmed his intoxicated state. This compounded his charges and increased the severity of his offense.

Traffic police officials promptly informed the jurisdictional police station about the incident. A team of officers arrived at the scene to assist ASI Nagesh Rao in handling the situation. The suspect was taken into custody and his vehicle.
