33-Year-Old Santa Rosa Resident Arrested for Criminal Trespassing in Petaluma

Petaluma, UK – In a recent incident, a 33-year-old resident of Santa Rosa was apprehended by the Petaluma Police Department for criminal trespassing. According to the authorities, the video alarm footage was captured in a newly developed area of the business premises, which is currently under construction and enclosed by a locked gate and a surrounding fence.

Upon reaching the location, the police officers discovered the suspect within the fenced area, specifically inside one of the garages of the homes. However, as soon as the suspect noticed the officers’ presence, he immediately fled on foot, ignoring their commands to stop. This prompted the Community Impact Response Team (CIRT) officers to initiate a foot pursuit, which took them through the complex, over a fence, and onto the Lynch Creek Trail path.

During the chase, the CIRT officers lost sight of the suspect due to the darkness as he entered the creek path. To locate him, the officers established a perimeter, and with the assistance of the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, a helicopter was deployed. The Henry-1 crew aided in guiding the officers to the location of the suspect, Eliaser Hernandez-Valadez, who was found hiding behind a flood wall barrier along the creek path.

Following his capture, Hernandez-Valadez was identified and subsequently transported to the Sonoma County Jail. He has been booked on charges of criminal trespassing and resisting arrest.
