Missing Man from Chester County, Pennsylvania, Identified as Bobby Pipkins Jr., Found Dead in Delaware Car Crash

The man found dead at the scene has been identified as Bobby Pipkins Jr., a 42-year-old resident of Chester County, Pennsylvania, who had been reported missing.

On Tuesday, a passing motorist noticed a vehicle off the roadway along Lancaster Pike in Hockessin and alerted the authorities. Upon further investigation, Pipkins’ body was discovered near the wrecked vehicle. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between November 25 and December 6.

According to the Delaware State Police, Pipkins was driving his Mitsubishi Outlander westbound on Lancaster Pike, near Hercules Road, when the accident took place. For reasons yet to be determined, Pipkins’ vehicle veered across the eastbound lane and collided with a guardrail. The Outlander then continued through some vegetation, ultimately hitting two trees. Pipkins was ejected from the vehicle upon impact and tragically lost his life. The vehicle eventually came to rest in a nearby creek.
