The victims have been identified as Sahikta Bepari, aged 25, and her 28-year-old husband, Malik Bepari, both residents of Islampur in Old Hubballi.

According to the local authorities, Sahikta Bepari had previously been married to a man from Bailhongal, who sadly passed away a few months ago. Following her husband’s demise, she returned to her parents’ house in Hubballi, along with her two children, seeking solace and support.

In an attempt to rebuild her life, the family arranged for Sahikta’s marriage to Malik Bepari. However, it appears that the couple struggled to find harmony in their relationship, with reports indicating frequent arguments and fights between them. The situation took a tragic turn on Friday morning when a heated altercation escalated, leading Malik Bepari to fatally stab his wife, instantly claiming her life.
