Suspected Attacker’s Failed Application as a Professor

The recent tragic incident at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where three innocent lives were lost and another individual was injured, has revealed that the suspected assailant had previously applied for a teaching position at the institution. However, the university authorities decided not to hire him, as confirmed by a law-enforcement official.

The official, who chose to remain anonymous, disclosed that the suspected attacker has been identified as Anthony Polito, a 67-year-old individual. Polito’s violent rampage was eventually brought to an end through a gunfight with university police, resulting in his demise.
