An FIR has been filed against the seven accused under sections 147 (rioting), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), and 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement) of the Indian Penal Code at the Sadar Bazar police station. The video, which lasts for 53 seconds, shows a group of 5-7 people brutally assaulting the victim while several onlookers watched in horror. Despite Rehman pleading for mercy, the accused continued to subject him to a vicious beating.
