Vancouver Tragedy: Five Victims Identified in Apparent Murder-Suicide
VANCOUVER Wash. (KPTV) – The Clark County Sheriff’s Office has released the identities of the victims in a devastating incident of an apparent murder-suicide involving five individuals.

Authorities have identified the alleged perpetrator as Stuart K. Rouse, a 64-year-old man. The incident took place on Sunday when law enforcement responded to a welfare check request at a residence located in the Orchards Neighborhood on Northeast 92nd Street.
The distressing situation unfolded after a concerned individual received a text message from one of the family members, revealing that they had “harmed others” within the household, prompting them to alert the authorities.
Upon their arrival, deputies attempted to establish contact with the occupants of the house but received no response. Given the report of potential harm to others and the presence of a possible firearm, deputies immediately called for backup from a tactical team.

Utilizing a flying drone, law enforcement personnel quickly discovered multiple lifeless bodies inside the residence. Subsequently, tactical teams and emergency medics were deployed to the scene, where they encountered the tragic sight of five individuals who had succumbed to gunshot wounds.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office announced on Thursday that the victims have been identified as Cristina S. Rouse (62), Ronald E. Rouse (57), Kristina T. Rouse (33), and Melissa A. Rouse (19). These individuals are believed to be the suspect’s wife, two adult daughters, and the suspect’s adult brother.
The preliminary investigation suggests that the deaths were a result of a murder-suicide involving a firearm. While the suspect is among the deceased, it appears that his wife, daughters, and brother also tragically lost their lives in the incident.
As of now, no further information regarding the motive or circumstances leading up to the incident is available. Authorities continue to investigate this horrific event to uncover any underlying factors that may have contributed to the tragedy.
