The altercation erupted when a tray carrying used plates accidentally touched some guests at the CGS Vatika guest house on Pusta Road. The victim, identified as Pankaj, was mercilessly beaten by a group of men during the scuffle, leading to his tragic demise.

The incident occurred on November 17, but details have only recently come to light. Witnesses reported that a fight broke out when the waiter inadvertently brushed the guests with a platter of used plates. This minor contact quickly escalated into a violent confrontation, resulting in Pankaj being subjected to a brutal assault by several individuals. Shockingly, after the attack, the assailants dumped Pankaj’s lifeless body in a nearby jungle, presumably to conceal their crime.

The following day, on November 18, Pankaj’s body was discovered, prompting a police investigation into the matter. The authorities found a deep wound on his head during the postmortem examination, indicating the severity of the beating he endured. The victim’s mother, who filed the missing person report, informed the police that Pankaj had left for work at a wedding venue but failed to return home.

Through their inquiry, the police ascertained that Pankaj was employed as a waiter at the CGS Vatika guest house, working under a contractor named Manoj Gupta. Shockingly, the investigation revealed that Manoj himself had assaulted Pankaj during the altercation. The police believe that the victim sustained critical head injuries when he was forcefully thrown to the ground by the accused.

Following a thorough investigation, the authorities have apprehended Manoj Gupta, along with two others named Amit Kumar and an unidentified individual. The trio has been taken into custody and will face the full extent of the law for their alleged involvement in the young waiter’s untimely death.
