Suspect Apprehended and Victim Identified in Fatal Chowchilla Shooting

CHOWCHILLA, Calif. – The Chowchilla Police Department announced on Tuesday that they have successfully apprehended the suspect involved in a shooting incident that tragically claimed the life of a Chowchilla man. The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Jose Rodriguez. The arrest marks a significant development in the ongoing investigation.

Shooting Incident

On November 28, authorities received a distress call regarding a shooting incident in the vicinity of Ninth Street and Riverside Avenue at approximately 3 p.m. Responding swiftly, officers arrived at the scene to discover a man and a woman with gunshot wounds in front of a residence. Both victims were promptly transported to a local hospital for immediate medical attention.
