Corona, California – Four suspects were apprehended by the Corona Police Department after allegedly stealing over $3,000 worth of sneakers from a local shoe store. The suspects, identified as James Sanders (42), Miracle Partee (22), and two juveniles aged 16 and 14, entered the WSS Shoe Store on the 1100 block of West Sixth Street on December 2nd at approximately 12:55 p.m.

According to the authorities, the group swiftly made their way into the store and began grabbing high-end sneakers and valuable shoes. Within minutes, the suspects managed to amass around $3,000 worth of merchandise and promptly fled the scene in a waiting getaway car.

Law enforcement officers were quick to respond to the incident and were able to locate the suspects’ vehicle on the westbound lanes of the 91 Freeway near Valley View Drive in La Mirada. A pursuit ensued, and the four suspects were eventually stopped and taken into custody. During the arrest, the stolen shoes were recovered and later returned to WSS.

Photographs from the arrest reveal several large bags filled with boxes of stolen sneakers, highlighting the magnitude of the theft. Authorities charged all four suspects with grand theft, emphasizing the seriousness of their alleged crime.

The Corona Police Department expressed their gratitude towards the Orange County agencies that provided assistance during the incident.
