Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Two Businessmen in Gurugram

Tragedy struck on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway in Gurugram as two businessmen lost their lives in a fatal vehicular pile-up. The incident occurred on December 3 at approximately 8:45 am when a speeding trailer truck abruptly applied brakes, leading to a chain reaction collision involving multiple vehicles.

An FIR lodged by a friend of the victims provided details of the incident, which left the local community shocked and grieving.

Multi-Vehicle Collision Involving Cars, Bikes, and a Canter Truck

The accident involved two cars, including a BMW, and a canter truck, which collided with each other due to the sudden braking of the trailer truck. Unfortunately, the two bike riders bore the brunt of the collision and tragically lost their lives.

A police official stated, “We regret to inform that two bike riders lost their lives in the accident. As of now, there is no information about any other injuries. An FIR has been registered to initiate necessary legal proceedings.”

Driver of the Truck Apprehended

The driver of the trailer truck, responsible for the catastrophic incident, has been arrested by the authorities. This development brings some solace to the grieving families, who seek justice for the tragic loss of their loved ones.

Friends on a Fateful Bike Ride

The deceased victims, Prashant Narula and Parmit Sood, were part of a group of friends who had set out on a leisurely bike ride on that ill-fated day. Prashant Narula, a resident of North Avenue Road, Punjabi Bagh, Delhi, and Parmit Sood, a resident of DLF Phase-1 area in Gurugram, were beloved members of their communities.

Mukul Kumar, a friend who was part of the group, took the initiative to file a complaint with the police following the tragic incident. The accused driver will face charges under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence), 279 (rash driving), and 427 (mischief causing damage to property) of the Indian Penal Code.

Devastating Outcome and Loss

Prashant Narula, a director of Narula Industries, fought bravely but succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Nalhar Medical College. Similarly, Paramjit Sood, critically injured in the road accident, was admitted to Fortis Hospital, Gurugram, but tragically couldn’t survive.

The entire community mourns the loss of these two individuals who had promising futures ahead of them.
