Multiple Suspects Involved

The OPP has disclosed that they believe multiple suspects were involved in the shooting incident, although their identities have yet to be determined.

Witnesses reported seeing one of the suspects entering a black pick-up truck, which was observed heading westbound on Mayfield Road. In a subsequent development, investigators believe the same truck was later found engulfed in flames near Olde Baseline Road and Creditview Road in a separate vehicle fire incident.

In their efforts to gather more evidence, the police previously released a photograph of the suspect’s vehicle and are urging anyone with relevant footage to come forward and assist the ongoing investigation.

Plea for Information and Surveillance Footage

Investigators are appealing to the public for any footage or information that may shed light on the events that unfolded between 11 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. in Caledon on the night of the shooting.

The authorities emphasize that there is currently no immediate threat to public safety, but they continue to work diligently to apprehend the individuals responsible for this heinous crime.
