On Tuesday morning, Israeli soldiers carried out a violent attack in the Qalandia refugee camp, resulting in the death of a young Palestinian man and the abduction of his brother. The victim, Mohammad Yousef Hasan Manasra, 25, was killed when the soldiers detonated the main door of their home while he was trying to open it for them. His body was severely mutilated as a result of the explosion. The soldiers also fired live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at surrounding homes.

This attack is just one in a series of violent incidents perpetrated by Israeli forces against Palestinians. On Monday, another young man, Ali Ibrahim Alqam, 32, was shot in the heart and killed by Israeli soldiers during an invasion of the refugee camp. In addition, 22 Palestinians were shot with live rounds, three of whom suffered critical injuries, and four were injured by rubber-coated steel rounds.

The violence has not been confined to the West Bank. In the town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron, two young Palestinian men, Anas Ismail Al-Froukh, 23, and Muhammad Saadi Al-Froukh, 22, were killed by Israeli forces on Monday evening. Earlier that day, undercover Israeli soldiers executed two more young Palestinian men in the city of Qalqilia.
