Arrests Made in Gang-Related Shooting of San Jose Man: Osmin Matadamas, Ivan Quezadas, and Adan Villa-Cruz in Custody

Accident – Death – Obituary News : Three individuals have been apprehended by the police in connection with a gang-related shooting that occurred in East San Jose back in August. The incident took place on the night of August 24 on the 1500 block of Alum Rock Avenue, near Highway 101. Although the suspects and the victim had already fled the scene by the time the police arrived, the victim was later discovered at a local hospital, having sustained non-life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound.

Upon further investigation, detectives confirmed that the shooting was indeed gang-related and were able to identify three suspects involved in the incident. On September 26, the police successfully arrested 23-year-old Osmin Matadamas and 26-year-old Ivan Quezadas, both residents of San Jose. The arrests were carried out without any incident. The third suspect, identified as 18-year-old Adan Villa-Cruz, was apprehended on November 29. During the execution of a search warrant at Villa-Cruz’s residence, illegal narcotics and live ammunition were discovered by the authorities.

All three suspects have been booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on several felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon, possession of narcotics for sale, and illegal possession of ammunition. According to the jail records, Matadamas, Quezadas, and Villa-Cruz are currently in custody and are being held without the possibility of bail.
