Tragic Shimla Road Accident Claims Six Lives: A devastating road accident in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, has resulted in the loss of six lives and left several others injured. The incident occurred on Monday morning near Sunni when a pickup truck, carrying laborers from Jammu and Kashmir, veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge. The driver of the ill-fated vehicle lost control, leading to this horrifying accident, according to police officials.

The laborers were en route to Mandi from Sunni when the accident took place. Three individuals died instantly at the scene, while the other three succumbed to their injuries at a nearby hospital. The injured victims are currently receiving medical treatment at the Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital (IGMCH).

Details of Deceased:

The deceased individuals have been identified as Farid (24), Gulab (43), Sahbir (19), Talib (23), Gulzar (30), and Mustak (30), as confirmed by Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi during a media briefing. The injured individuals include Ranjit, who was driving the vehicle, as well as Aslam, Talib Hussain, Akash Kumar, Ajay Thakur, and Manjoor, according to police reports.

An official case has been registered, and investigations are currently underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.

In a heart-wrenching incident that occurred on Monday morning, an accident near Sunni in Shimla district resulted in the death of six people, while several others sustained injuries. According to police officials, the mishap took place at Kararghat, approximately 35 kilometers away from Shimla, when the driver of a pickup truck lost control of the vehicle carrying laborers from Jammu and Kashmir.

The laborers were on their way to Mandi from Sunni when the tragic accident occurred. Three individuals lost their lives on the spot, while the remaining three were pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital. The injured victims are currently receiving treatment at the Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital (IGMCH).
