Man Fatally Shot at West Ashley Apartment Complex Identified
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has revealed the identity of the man who tragically lost his life in a fatal shooting incident that occurred at a West Ashley apartment complex.

The victim has been identified as Collin Potter, a 31-year-old resident of Mount Pleasant. According to Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal, Potter succumbed to his injuries at 9:26 p.m. on Saturday at the Medical University of South Carolina.
The shooting incident took place at approximately 8:57 p.m. at 78 Ashley Hall Plantation Rd, as reported by local authorities.
Upon responding to the scene, law enforcement officers discovered Potter inside a vehicle, where he had sustained a gunshot wound, said Sgt. Anthony Gibson.
The Charleston Police Department has taken charge of the investigation into this tragic incident.
