The incident unfolded in the early hours of the morning when a dark burgundy 2018 Nissan Armada was spotted speeding near the intersection of Broad Street and DeKalb Street in Camden. A Camden Police officer attempted to pull over the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop, leading the officer on a high-speed chase. The pursuit ultimately ended at the Kershaw Health Emergency Room, where the driver was apprehended.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that there were a total of six individuals inside the vehicle. Two of them managed to flee the scene, while one was taken into custody. Shockingly, the remaining three occupants had all sustained gunshot wounds.

The distressing call to 911 came from the side of I-20 West near the 104-mile marker. Thankfully, the woman’s injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, and she was treated at the hospital before being released.

Both vehicles involved in the shootings, the Nissan Armada and the Chevrolet Impala, displayed multiple bullet holes, indicating a violent confrontation had taken place. Initially, law enforcement struggled to pinpoint the exact location of the shootings. However, later updates from the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office revealed that the incidents likely occurred on I-20 East between the 88 and 89-mile markers.
