Accident – Death – Obituary News : Arrests Made in Series of Armed Robberies Targeting Southern California Residents

Beverly Hills, CA – Two suspects have been apprehended in connection with a string of armed robberies that targeted residents in Southern California. The suspects, identified as Justice Bloodworth, 21, of Los Angeles, and Cameron Woods-Harvey, 23, of Long Beach, were arrested by the Beverly Hills Police Department.

The armed robberies occurred between July and October 2023, primarily in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. According to the police, the perpetrators specifically targeted victims wearing luxury watches and jewelry.

The suspects are believed to be responsible for at least six robberies throughout Los Angeles County, and they are also connected to a home invasion robbery in Brea.

In order to track down the suspects, the Beverly Hills police collaborated with several law enforcement agencies, including the Santa Monica Police Department, L.A. County Sheriff’s Department West Hollywood Division, L.A. Police Department Robbery-Homicide Division, LA IMPACT, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

The joint investigation led to the execution of multiple search warrants at various locations across Southern California and Flagstaff, Arizona.

During the search, authorities were able to recover stolen property belonging to two of the victims. This evidence played a crucial role in linking the suspects to the crimes and providing leads for the ongoing investigation. Among the items recovered were six guns, including assault weapons, stolen luxury watches, fine jewelry, and other valuable items.

Bloodworth was taken into custody on October 12 and has been charged with four counts of robbery, one count of conspiracy, and one count of felony reckless evading. It was discovered that Bloodworth had previously been released on bail for several other armed robberies prior to his recent arrest. He is currently being held without bail.

Woods-Harvey was arrested on October 27 on three counts of conspiracy and two counts of weapons-related charges. He was located in Arizona and is awaiting extradition back to Los Angeles County. Woods-Harvey is currently being held in the Coconino County Jail on a bail amount of $235,000.
