Missing Minnesota Woman Found Dead in NYC Garbage Chute

NEW YORK CITY – A Minnesota woman who disappeared after attending a corporate event in Manhattan has been tragically found dead in a garbage chute at her hotel, according to authorities.

The victim, identified as Jaclyn Elmquist, was last seen leaving the party around 11 p.m. on Friday. She had been staying at the +Art hotel located at 540 West 28th Street. Her lifeless body was discovered by a building worker at approximately 8 a.m. on Saturday, as confirmed by the police.

While the cause of her death is still being investigated, authorities believe that she may have accidentally fallen into the garbage chute.

“We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss,” expressed a spokesperson for the hotel. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the deceased.”

The woman’s relatives have already been informed of her untimely demise. “We are profoundly saddened by the loss of our beloved Jaclyn,” her family stated in a released statement. “She was a brilliant and stunning young woman who was adored by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. We kindly request privacy during this difficult time as we mourn her loss.”
