According to Lieutenant Curt Allen of the Greenbrier Police, multiple calls were made to 911 reporting a suspicious individual in the vicinity of Old Greenbrier Pike. Witnesses described a white male wearing a dark-colored jacket who was seen fleeing into a shed located in the backyard of a nearby property. However, the homeowner lost sight of the suspect soon after.

While the police were investigating the shed incident, they received another call regarding a suspicious person on Mitchell Street, just two streets away. When officers arrived at the scene, the victim recounted how a white male matching the previous description approached his vehicle and attempted to open the door. Startled, the victim remained inside the car, causing the suspect to flee. A vigilant neighbor managed to capture the suspect on video as he crossed her yard.

Approximately an hour later, Greenbrier Police received yet another distress call concerning an ongoing residential burglary on Lynwood Drive, which was approximately half a mile from Mitchell Street. Responding swiftly, the police arrived at the scene and discovered the suspect still inside the targeted home.

Lieutenant Allen informed Smokey Barn News that the suspect has been identified as 39-year-old Charles Mann from White House. Without any resistance, Mann was promptly arrested and taken into custody. Shockingly, the house that Mann allegedly broke into had three young children present at the time of the incident.
