In a tragic incident, three tourists lost their lives after a car driven by a Russian traveler collided with them in a village in North Goa in the early hours of Saturday morning. The accident occurred around 3:30 am at Arpora village, just as the victims were about to enter their own vehicle, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Jivba Dalvi.

“A speeding car driven by Russian traveler Anton Bychkov (27) crashed into the three tourists, identified as Mahesh Sharma from Nashik, Dilipkumar Bang, and Manojkumar Soni from Hyderabad, killing them instantly,” Dalvi stated during a press conference.

The impact of the collision caused the Russian man’s car to veer off the road and fall into a nearby nullah. Bychkov sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Goa Medical College and Hospital in Bambolim, where he is currently receiving treatment.
