“A speeding car driven by Russian traveler Anton Bychkov (27) crashed into the three tourists, identified as Mahesh Sharma from Nashik, Dilipkumar Bang, and Manojkumar Soni from Hyderabad, killing them instantly,” Dalvi stated during a press conference.

The impact of the collision caused the Russian man’s car to veer off the road and fall into a nearby nullah. Bychkov sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Goa Medical College and Hospital in Bambolim, where he is currently receiving treatment.

Authorities have confirmed that legal action will be taken against Bychkov once he is discharged from the hospital. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community and highlights the importance of road safety and responsible driving.
