Accident – Death – Obituary News : McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man has been arrested by McAllen police on charges of sending an explicit and unsolicited video to his ex-girlfriend. Julio Fuentes is facing charges of sale/distribution/display harmful material to a minor, as per records from Hidalgo County Jail.
According to a criminal complaint, the incident took place on November 1 when McAllen police responded to a harassment case at a residence. The victim, a 16-year-old girl, reported that her ex-boyfriend, identified as Fuentes, had sent her a video of himself engaging in explicit activities. Furthermore, she stated that Fuentes had also threatened to send two females to harm her.

Following the initial complaint, the girl was interviewed at the Children’s Advocacy Center on November 11. During the interview, she revealed that Fuentes had been persistently trying to engage in sexual activities with her again, despite her having moved on with her life and being in a new relationship. The complaint states that she had never requested the explicit video or any other inappropriate content from Fuentes.
On November 15, Fuentes was interviewed by investigators at the local police department. During the interview, he admitted to sending the explicit picture and video of himself, acknowledging that his actions were wrong. However, he was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for why he had done so.
Following the investigation, Fuentes was booked into Hidalgo County Jail on November 26. He was subsequently released on November 27 after posting a bond of $4,000.
