The Eastern Police District Seizes Illegal Drugs Worth Over P500,000 in Pasig City
In a recent successful operation, the Eastern Police District (EPD) confiscated a substantial amount of illegal drugs with an estimated value of P515,440 from a 26-year-old female suspect in Pasig City. The suspect, identified as “Mich,” has been categorized as a high-value individual (HVI) by the authorities.

The EPD District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) orchestrated a meticulously planned buy-bust operation in Barangay Pinagbuhatan in the late hours of Wednesday, November 29, leading to the arrest of the suspect.
During the operation, law enforcement agents confiscated various pieces of incriminating evidence from the suspect. These included five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, each containing approximately 75.8 grams of shabu, a knot-tied plastic sachet containing the same substance, a black pouch, and a P500 bill, which was used as buy-bust money.
Following her apprehension, the suspect is currently being held at the Pasig Police custodial facility. She is expected to face charges for violation of R.A. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The EPD Director, Wilson Asueta, commended the EPD DDEU for their exemplary efforts in successfully capturing the suspect, ensuring the safety of the community.
