Renowned photographer Elliot Erwitt, known for his ability to capture frozen moments in history with his camera, has passed away at the age of 95. Born on July 26, 1928, in Paris, France, Erwitt’s passion for photography began at a young age. He received his first camera, a Kodak Box Brownie, at the age of ten, sparking a lifelong fascination with capturing the world through a lens. Erwitt’s family moved to the United States in 1939, where he eventually studied photography at Los Angeles City College and the New School for Social Research in New York.
