Biker Killed and Pillion Rider Injured in Car Accident in Panchkula Industrial Area

Accident – Death – Obituary News : Panchkula: A tragic incident occurred in Panchkula when a biker lost his life after being hit by a car near the industrial area. The pillion rider also sustained injuries in the accident, according to the police who reported the incident on Tuesday.

The victim, identified as 25-year-old Sagar, was dragged for a few meters along with his motorcycle, which his brother, Deepak Kumar, revealed had been recently purchased. Sagar worked as a mechanic and also provided part-time food delivery and bike taxi services.

Deepak Kumar, 26, from Kharak Mangoli, explained in his statement to the police that Sagar and a customer were on their way to Sector 14 when a speeding car with registration number CH-01-CM-0201 collided with their bike. The impact caused the pillion rider to fall onto the road, while Sagar was dragged by the car. The driver momentarily stopped but later fled the scene.

Both victims were rushed to the civil hospital, where doctors pronounced Sagar dead upon arrival. The pillion rider’s identity has yet to be confirmed, but they are currently receiving treatment for their injuries. Authorities have registered a First Information Report (FIR) regarding the incident.
