Teenage Girl Khushi Panhekar Commits Suicide After Being Denied Access to Cellphone

Accident – Death – Obituary News : Nagpur: Three individuals, namely Ishwar Sharma, his elder brother Sunil, and Sahil Bhargav, have been charged with stealing gold valuables worth ₹12 lakh from a 38-year-old woman. The accused tricked the woman into believing that their spiritual and voodoo powers could remove evil spirits from her house. The Hudkeshwar police have apprehended Ishwar and Sunil in connection with the case.

According to sources, the woman, who was experiencing marital issues, was advised to seek the assistance of the Sharma brothers and their alleged special powers to combat the evil spirits. It is believed that the brothers took more than ₹6.5 lakh in cash and ₹5 lakh worth of valuables from the woman for performing black magic rituals.

Fortunately, the woman and her family received help from activists who approached the Hudkeshwar police to file a complaint against the Sharma brothers and expose their fraudulent activities.

In another unfortunate incident, a 17-year-old girl named Khushi Panhekar took her own life by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her house in Shastrinagar. It is reported that Khushi was denied access to her cellphone, which led to her extreme step. The young girl, who was a student in standard XII, had been scolded by her family the day before for devoting too much time to her studies instead of using her cellphone.

The Nandanvan police station has registered a case of accidental death in connection with the incident.
