Female School Teacher Dies and 15 Students Injured in Tragic Bus Accident near Shahdara, Islamabad

Accident – Death – Obituary News : A tragic accident occurred near the Shahdara area when a school bus traveling from Sheikhupura to Islamabad veered out of control, resulting in the death of a female school teacher and injuries to 15 students. The bus was carrying a group of students on a picnic trip to the federal capital when the mishap took place within the jurisdiction of Shahdara.

As soon as the incident was reported, the police and rescue teams quickly responded by dispatching teams to the scene. The deceased teacher, identified as 22-year-old Hania, lost her life in the accident. The injured students were immediately transported to the Federal Government Services Hospital (Poly Clinic) and Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), where medical professionals provided them with necessary care and treatment. The rescue teams worked diligently to ensure the safe transportation of the injured children.

Eyewitnesses present at the scene reported that the accident was a result of the bus driver’s negligence. The driver’s name has been identified as Riaz. The ill-fated bus was carrying a total of 59 individuals, including 41 children and 13 teachers.

The injured children have been named as Hurriyat Fatima (9), Noor Fatima (12), Abu Bakr (9), Faizan Jameel (12), and Muhasim (12), who suffered a broken backbone and was subsequently transferred to Benazir Bhutto Hospital for further medical attention. The condition of the other injured children who were shifted to PIMS is reported to be stable and out of danger.

This unfortunate incident has left the community in shock and grief. The loss of a young teacher and the injuries sustained by the students have deeply affected the families and the entire educational institution.
