Tragic Accident Claims the Life of 60-Year-Old Woman in Loving, Texas

LOVING, Texas (KAUZ) – In a devastating incident, Dona Louise Chambers, a 60-year-old woman from Loving, Texas, was discovered deceased on Saturday around 12 p.m. The Young County authorities pronounced her dead at the accident site, attributing her demise to the injuries sustained during the crash.

Sgt. Gutierrez, associated with the Texas Department of Public Safety, revealed that Chambers had been reported as a missing person through the Young County Sheriff’s Office. The last known contact with her was on November 18, 2023.

According to initial investigations, Chambers was traveling in a 2022 Buick Encore heading north on SH-16. Tragedy struck as her vehicle veered off the road while negotiating a sharp curve, causing it to enter the ditch. Subsequently, the car collided with a sign before coming to rest on its side within a tree line.

The crash, which claimed Chambers’ life, involved no other vehicles.
