Identification of Victim Unveiled Following Fatal Collision

The tragic incident that unfolded on the notorious Burma Road earlier this week has now been marked by the identification of the unfortunate victim.

On the evening of Tuesday, November 21st, 2023, at approximately 9:45 pm, emergency services sprang into action as they received distress calls regarding a severe motor vehicle accident on 1550 Burma Road, situated between the towns of Mahanoy City and St. Clair.

Responding promptly to the distressing scene, the dedicated fire personnel from St. Clair were the first to arrive, only to be met with the grim sight of a vehicle lying on its side amidst a densely wooded area.

After days of investigation and diligent efforts, the victim has now been officially identified as Raymond Freil, a 52-year-old resident of Mahanoy City, whose life was tragically cut short in this devastating collision.
