Reports of Palestinian Armed Group Executing Men Accused of Collaboration with Israel

Recent reports have emerged indicating that members of a Palestinian armed group have carried out the execution of two men in the West Bank and one man in Jenin. These individuals were accused of collaborating with Israel and spying for them, as revealed by Palestinian sources cited by Israeli media. These incidents have come to light as the truce between Israel and Hamas enters its second day.

According to the renowned publication, the Times of Israel, the armed group publicly executed two men in the West Bank’s Tulkarem on Friday night. Shockingly, their bodies were later displayed on an electricity pole before being discarded in the trash. In addition to these killings, another individual was reported to have been killed in Jenin.

The victims have been identified as 31-year-old Hamza Mubarak and 29-year-old Azam Juabra, as confirmed by local authorities.

Disturbing videos purportedly capturing the executions have circulated on various social media platforms. In these footage, the crowd can be heard hurling abuses at the accused individuals. Furthermore, one of the videos allegedly shows the men “confessing” to having worked for the Israel Defence Force (IDF).

An Israeli-based channel, i24 News, has quoted an organization calling themselves ‘Resistance Security,’ which issued a statement saying, “We would like to inform you that there is no immunity for any informer or any traitor and that whoever is proven to be involved in any case of the assassination of our fighters, we will attack him, pursue him, and impose a death sentence on him.”

It is important to note that neither Hamas nor the Israel Defence Force (IDF) has released any official statements regarding these alleged executions.

Since October 7, when Israel initiated a war with Hamas in response to an unexpected attack by the Palestinian group, several clashes between Palestinians and Israeli settlers in the West Bank have been reported.
