Israeli Army Kills Three Palestinians in West Bank

Three Palestinians lost their lives on Saturday following an encounter with Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank. The incident occurred during an Israeli army raid on the Jenin refugee camp, resulting in two fatalities and leaving seven individuals injured, as reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry.
According to a statement from the Health Ministry, two of the injured are currently in critical condition. The armed wing of the Islamic Jihad group affirmed that its fighters engaged with the Israeli army near the refugee camp.
The situation escalated further when another Palestinian teenager, identified as Mohammad Saleh, aged 16, was also killed by Israeli forces in Al-Bireh, located in the central West Bank. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.

In response to Mohammad’s death, the Palestinian official news agency, WAFA, highlighted that the Israeli forces hindered emergency response teams from reaching the teenager. The Red Crescent Society also corroborated this information.
Tensions in the West Bank have been on the rise since the outbreak of hostilities between Palestinian groups and Israel in Gaza on October 7. As per the Palestinian Health Ministry, a total of 235 Palestinians have lost their lives due to Israeli forces’ actions in the West Bank, with over 2,900 sustaining injuries.
