Identification of Pedestrian Struck on Ventura Freeway

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office has confirmed the identity of the pedestrian who lost his life in a fatal accident on the Ventura (101) Freeway near Toluca Lake. The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Daniel Moreso.

Details of the Tragic Incident

Authorities received an emergency call at approximately 3:51 a.m. on Thursday, alerting them to a tragic incident on the northbound Ventura Freeway at the Vineland Avenue on-ramp. California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers swiftly responded to the scene.

Upon their arrival, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig informed City News Service that they discovered the lifeless body of Daniel Moreso, who had been struck and killed by a passing vehicle.
