(WNCN) – The Fayetteville Police Department held a press conference on Friday afternoon to provide updates on an officer-involved shooting that occurred on Murchison Road on Thanksgiving Day. The individual shot by the officer has been identified as 49-year-old DeMarcus Brodie, a resident of Fayetteville.
