Tragedy Strikes as School Bus Plunges into Ravine: Teacher Killed, Dozens Injured

ISLAMABAD – A devastating accident occurred near the Shahdara area of Islamabad on Saturday, as a school bus carrying 54 individuals, including students and staff, veered off the road and tumbled into a ravine. The incident resulted in the tragic death of a 22-year-old female teacher, identified as Hania, while leaving at least 20 others injured.

The ill-fated school bus, transporting students from Sheikhupura who were on a delightful picnic trip to Islamabad, suddenly lost control and careened off the road. Among the passengers, there were 13 teachers and other staff members, along with 22 schoolboys and 19 schoolgirls, according to a senior police official.

Thirteen students were taken to Poly Clinic Hospital, while eight others were admitted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) hospital, as reported by the police.
