Tragic Incident: 22-Year-Old Law Student Allegedly Dies in Faridabad

Faridabad, November 25 (PTI) – In a shocking incident that has left the city of Faridabad in grief, a 22-year-old law student allegedly lost his life on Saturday morning by jumping from the 13th floor of a building in Sector 46. The young man, identified as Divyanshu from Kadamkuan in Patna, tragically lost his life in what appears to be a suicide. The police are currently investigating the matter, as no suicide note was found at the scene of the incident.

Divyanshu, a law student studying at Manav Rachna University, resided with his mother in a rented flat on the 13th floor of a building in Omaxe Society. His father, Viresh Kumar, who worked as a manager in a private bank in Patna, had recently come to visit them. The family was fast asleep when the tragedy occurred, and Divyanshu leapt from one of the windows of their apartment at around 8 am.

Several individuals who were out for their morning walk were unfortunate witnesses to Divyanshu’s fall. They immediately rushed to his aid and called for medical assistance. The victim was promptly taken to a nearby private hospital, where doctors declared him dead, leaving everyone in a state of shock and sorrow.

According to a senior police officer, initial investigations suggest that the deceased had been battling with prolonged mental stress. Divyanshu had reportedly confided in his mother, expressing his lack of interest in further studies and reluctance to attend college. However, a thorough investigation is currently underway to determine the exact cause behind this tragic incident.

The apartment complex in which Divyanshu and his mother had been residing for the past six months was left in a state of disbelief and heartbreak upon hearing the news. The residents of the society, who had come to know Divyanshu during his short stay, expressed their condolences and shared their shock at this unfortunate turn of events.
