Dalsaniya had been employed by the businesswoman, identified as Vibhuti Patel, for a period of two weeks at her company, Raniba Industries Pvt Ltd. The assault occurred when Dalsaniya requested his salary, which led to Patel assaulting him.

Vibhuti Patel, along with her brother Om Patel and manager Parikshit, have been named as the accused in the case. Following Dalsaniya’s complaint, the Morbi city police registered a First Information Report (FIR) on Thursday.

Dalsaniya had been hired by Patel in early October with a monthly salary of Rs 12,000 for the tiles marketing sector. However, on October 18, he was abruptly terminated. When he approached Patel to claim his salary for the 16 days he had worked, she evaded his request and stopped responding to his calls, as stated in the FIR.

On Wednesday evening, Dalsaniya visited Patel’s office accompanied by his brother and neighbor. Allegedly, Om Patel and his accomplices assaulted him. The victim was slapped and forcibly taken to the terrace of the commercial complex, where he was subjected to further physical abuse by the accused, including Parikshit Patel and several unidentified men, who used belts and violence. According to the FIR, Vibhuti Patel forced Dalsaniya to put her footwear in his mouth and compelled him to apologize for requesting his salary. She also allegedly threatened him with harm if he returned to the Ravapar Crossroad area.
