Retired Teacher, Mrs Iyanuoluwa Adamolekun, Allegedly Murdered in Her Sleep by Three Suspects in Ondo State

Accident – Death – Obituary News : The Ondo State Police Command has made a significant breakthrough in the investigation of the death of Mrs Iyanuoluwa Adamolekun, a retired teacher from Arigidi Akoko, Akoko North-West Local Government Area of the state. Three individuals, identified as Oluwaseun, Mobarak, and Rilwan, have been apprehended in connection with the heinous crime.

The accused parties include Oluwaseun, who is the mother of Mobarak and also serves as the housekeeper. It is alleged that the accused entered Mrs Adamolekun’s residence while she was sleeping and mercilessly ended her life. Not only did they commit this atrocious act, but they also callously stole her mobile phone, adding to the gravity of their crime.

The grim discovery of Mrs Adamolekun’s lifeless body was reportedly made by her grandchild. The heartbreaking incident has sent shockwaves through the community, leaving residents in a state of mourning and disbelief.

They revealed that they gained access to the victim’s residence by scaling the fence instead of using the main gate, in order to avoid attracting attention. Once inside, they proceeded directly to the room where Mrs Adamolekun was peacefully lying on her bed after taking a bath. Shockingly, the suspects admitted to using a wooden box to strike her head, while she cried out in agony, and the second suspect, Mobarak, strangled her.
