Accident – Death – Obituary News : Gujarat Businesswoman Forces Sales Manager to Lick Her Boots, Subjected to Brutal Assault

In a shocking incident that highlights the abuse of power and caste discrimination, a businesswoman in Gujarat’s Morbi allegedly forced a fired sales manager to lick her boots. The victim, Nilesh Dalsaniya, was also beaten up with a belt by five others, including the company owner and promoter, Vibhuti alias Raniba Patel. The incident occurred because Dalsaniya had been continuously calling and texting Patel to inquire about his pending salary.

Dalsaniya, a Dalit, lodged a complaint at the Morbi A-division police station, stating that he had been subjected to this brutal treatment for 18 days of work. The accused not only physically assaulted him but also filmed the incident after forcing him to apologize. The incident took place on the company’s terrace, where Dalsaniya was mercilessly beaten by the perpetrators.

The accused individuals have been identified as Om Patel, Raj Patel, Parikshit, DD Rabari, and one unknown person. They have been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Atrocities Act, considering the victim’s caste background.

According to reports, Dalsaniya was terminated from his position in the middle of last month due to alleged performance issues. On Wednesday, he approached Patel to demand his pending salary of 18 days, accompanied by his elder brother Mehul and friend Bhavesh Makwana. However, instead of addressing his concerns, Raj Patel and Rabari slapped the three men, initiating the violent assault.

During the assault, the accused individuals hurled casteist slurs at Dalsaniya, further degrading and humiliating him. They also forced him to record a video falsely claiming that he and his friends were extorting money. In another video, Dalsaniya was coerced into apologizing for his actions and vowing not to contact Patel regarding his salary.

Disturbingly, Dalsaniya also revealed that Patel forced him to lick her shoes and threatened to kill him if he was ever seen near the company’s factory. The victim is currently receiving medical treatment at a civic hospital.

Vibhuti alias Raniba Patel is the founder and chairman of Raniba Industries, a ceramic company primarily engaged in tile manufacturing for export purposes. Dalsaniya had joined the company’s export division on October 2 but was abruptly fired on October 18. He was awaiting his salary of Rs 12,000 for the 18 days he had worked. Salaries are usually credited to employees’ accounts on the fifth of every month.

The incident has sparked outrage and raised concerns about workplace safety, employee rights, and the prevalence of caste discrimination in society. The police are investigating the matter, and strict action is expected to be taken against the accused individuals.

It is crucial to address such incidents and create a safe and inclusive work environment, free from discrimination and harassment. The authorities should ensure that justice is served, providing a sense of security to all employees..
